Daniel was bought as a yearling to hopefully be our outcross to place on our mares. He exceeded all expectations an definitely clicked with our stock, producing some outstanding mares for us, including Nerwyn Leila who was Reserve Female Champion at the 1999 Royal Welsh Show, and Nerwyn Lorna who was sold for £2000 at the 2001 Fayre Oaks sale.

This should not have come as any surprise, as his own dam Verdrefawr Blodwen won at the Royal Welsh Show on numerous occasions.

We showed Daniel successfully; as a youngster he was placed Second at the Royal Welsh as a two-year old and Third as a three-year old. He won many prizes, although was not shown much as an adult.
